2. What Information We Collect

Information you provide directly

Email address — collected when you purchase a subscription or request recovery of your access code.
Access code — a unique code issued to you upon subscription, used to authenticate your sessions.

Information collected automatically during use

Session data — when you generate a course, we record the subject you entered, the number of frames selected, your chosen educational level, learning level, language preference, and whether you completed the course.
We do not collect your name, age, postal address, phone number, or any government-issued identification.

Payment information

Payments are processed exclusively by Stripe, Inc. We do not receive, store, or have access to your credit card number or full payment details. Stripe's privacy policy governs the handling of your payment data and is available at stripe.com/privacy.

3. How We Use Your Information

To deliver and authenticate access to PrecisionStep Tutorials.
To send you your access code by email when you subscribe or request code recovery.
To log anonymized session data for internal analytics — understanding which subjects, levels, and languages are most used — in order to improve the product.
We do not use your information for advertising. We do not sell your data to any third party.

We will not provide, sell, or otherwise share your email address or any information linked to it with any third party, under any circumstances.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in a Supabase database hosted in Canada (Central region), keeping your information within Canadian jurisdiction. We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and role-based access controls.

No system is perfectly secure. In the event of a data breach that exposes your email address or session data, we will notify you as required under applicable law.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate PrecisionStep Tutorials:

Stripe — payment processing (stripe.com/privacy)
Supabase — database storage (supabase.com/privacy)
Resend — transactional email delivery (resend.com/privacy)
Netlify — website hosting (netlify.com/privacy)
Anthropic — AI course generation (anthropic.com/privacy)

Each of these services operates under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.

6. Children and Minors

PrecisionStep Tutorials is designed to serve learners of all ages, including children. Paid subscriptions require a credit card through Stripe, which serves as a de facto adult authorization for subscriber accounts.

Our free trial is open to all users. By using the free trial, you confirm that you are 13 years of age or older, or that you are a parent or guardian accessing the service on behalf of a minor. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with information without consent, please contact us at [email protected] and we will promptly delete it.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Regardless of where you are located, you have the right to:

Access the information we hold about you.
Request correction of inaccurate information.
Request deletion of your information, subject to legal retention requirements.
Withdraw consent to the collection or use of your information, where applicable.

PrecisionStep Tutorials uses browser cookies solely to remember your access code so you do not need to re-enter it each session. No advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies are used. You may clear cookies at any time through your browser settings.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the Effective Date at the top of this page. Continued use of PrecisionStep Tutorials after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
